about

Indie European trio based in Edinburgh, Scotland release their Debut Album ‘Break the Frame’ , definitely ‘Ready to Launch Assault in the Music World’, Rénovations are releasing their debut album this upcoming Spring 2022.

This is the first album of the new European (Scotland,UK based) electro-grunge trio, it’s composed of the past singles and more new songs; all made of synths, high vocal ranges/harmonies, strong guitar lines, heavy bass sound and crazy drum rolls!
- 1.‘La Radio’ is the 2nd single, entirely in French, released in 2020 during the second wave of the pandemic (or second lockdown), it is describing a world controlled by the medias and the vulnerability of the listeners.
2.‘Hey You’ is a song about the power of a lunatic president, we can let you guess which one, it was written a few years ago (already, TG!) and is mentioning a certain ‘orange pig’...
3.‘Women’ is the trio’s latest single (November 2021), setting on fire the overpower of the male figure towards woman
kind.

This un-yet-released song:
4.‘Goodbye’ is talking about frustration and separation, it is about why your own life matters more when you’re getting dumped...
5.‘Mine’ is a new song which has been played live already. It is talking about a person owning another person through psychological manipulation.
6.‘Ragged’ is about physical and psychological harassment, as a female being normally herself, it is even hard sometimes to avoid the attraction of hungry men.
7.‘Dirty Nails’ is a new track, it is also been played live and have been a perfect Halloweeny song, it is about a monster, trying to fit into the beauty of humanity
8.‘Down The Road’ is a new song and it’s a rare pop-like type of track, the main melody and the guitar makes the sound unique and airy. It is a song about someone moving away from his home, getting used to a new life and being fascinated by the strange and the unknown.
9.‘Relapse’ is a ‘Jazzy style’ version of the previous song ‘I Feel No Pain’ and this remix is in a reversed structure (also of the chords. A clever music experience...
10.‘Tell me’ is a new song and it’s an important track to the band as it is about THE ‘Brexit’, the European trio being constantly explaining the fact of living where they are and why, this song is representing a foreigner and/or a stranger choosing to be part of a country and a land that isn’t his place of birth.

11.‘Renovations’ is officially the story of the band, also evocating the power of Creation, and the first single of the trio ever released (on the 21st of June 2020).

12.‘99 Red Balloons’ is a cover originally by Nena, it has been the only cover that has been released on Youtube by Rénovations, the
friends and fans have voted, so the band covered and renovated the 1983 original banger...
The album title comes from the song ‘I Feel No Pain’.
In the lyrics, it refers to breaking the rules, being part of a community without letting ourselves be influenced by the laws and keeping our
Liberty.

Love from:
Charlotte, Ioana & Gian.

about

Rénovations Edinburgh, UK

After returning from Thailand in 2019, the vocalist/bass player Charlotte was offered a gig opportunity, but she needed a few
more musicians to build a rock set. She reached out Gian (drummer), to discuss the revival of an old band project. A few phone calls and messages later they found the guitarist Ioana.

During the lockdown in 2020, Rénovations
began home
recording their debut single...
